Having many larger “toys” and many hobbies that require larger machinery, a barndominium (aka Barndo) is one of the latest in a housing trend. It combines a “pole barn” with a house.

This Barndo is a custom-built home constructed by Lake In The Hills Construction, beginning with the foundation all the way through completion. Different from a typical barndominium, this particular home has a full walkout foundation and has been constructed out of pressure treated wood framing. The house portion sits at approximately 3300 square feet of main floor space, with the attached “garage or warehouse” boasting approximately 4000 heated square feet of main floor space.
