About Us

Rich and Kelly run a family-owned remodeling business built on long-term relationships and straightforward advice. The company has been in operation since 1995, and it began as a family business that Rich took over and grew with a hands-on, owner-led approach.

Their philosophy is simple: be honest about what is possible, take the time to talk through options, and earn trust before any paperwork is signed. Rich handles estimates personally and meets with homeowners directly, without high-pressure sales tactics, so clients know exactly who will be leading the work.

“We could not be more pleased with the kitchen remodel completed my Rich Hagel of Lake in the Hills Construction. From the beginning, they were organized, progessional, and transparent about cost and time frame. The crew was respectful of our home and showed extreme attention to detail. They helped guide us through decisions and layout materials, and finishes. Ensureing the final result was beauticul and functional. Our kitchen was 35 years old and I was nervouce about the process. Rich made this long needed upgrade very easy for me.”

“We have had LITH Construction do various projects for us. In our previous home we had serious fire damage and had LITH Const. do all the remediation, repairs, remodeling, etc. It turned out beautiful and added greatly to the sale of our home. Because of that we’ve had them do various projects at our new home including adding a new deck. Again, it turned out great. I know we will have them in the future.”
